Poor sweetie! Pets are really for life - I get really frustrated with people who get animals and then don't plan their lives around them. But that's another story.

I hope you find a good home for her! We've got four who get along tenuously at best, so we can't add another into the mix.

Tell me about it. I always give my students a spiel about responsible pet ownership at the beginning of the semester. College towns really tend to be the absolute worst for this kind of thing.

Definitely. Which probably doesn't help when the occasional responsible pet owner has a rare and legitimate need to get rid of a pet.
