So apparently the electric company decided that what would be really awesome, after yesterday's partial and, briefly, full power outage in the neighborhood, would be to INTENTIONALLY SHUT OFF POWER TO MY SIDE OF THE STREET AT 9 O'CLOCK AT NIGHT WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE.

I hope they all get leprosy.

It's my understanding that leprosy is peculiarly hard to catch. Maybe you should wish something more probable on them.

I felt exactly the same way when this happened to me... suddenly the power went out and I walked out and there were some guys doing stuff up on the polls.

...but really its understandable that they don't want to go warning everybody. Sometimes you just want to fix the shit. You've worked at ITS too. :)
