I just made 3 sheets from 3 different photos I've taken recently. What fun, and what a discount! This saves me having to go to the post office for more stamps. (Also, 3 sheets should be enough to last me through to next year, given that I usually only send snailmail for rent and birthday cards.)

Cool! Yeah, I did a couple of stamps with self portraits and a few with interesting photos. The bread animals from Chinatown in San Francisco are probably my favorite.

You're evil. I just spent an hour and a half trying to get stamps to look right when I should have been packing.

But I'm excited about this. Thanks for posting it.

Hehe. I just spent like three hours on my stamps and the custom travel mug with screenshots of Andromeda Sparks on it (and I tell people I don't identify with my avatar... I think maybe I'm a liar), but that's three hours interspersed with editing a grant proposal so it's not really accurate.

I think I ended up ordering six sheets of stamps. In my defense, I send a fair amount of mail. And not all of them were pictures of me. :p

I only ordered two designs (one sheet each).

It didn't occur to me until just now that my motivation for ordering fewer stamps (I go through about $20 a month) was that I didn't know whether the Zazzle stamps would look good or not-- but it's not like ordinary stamps look good, and these are barely more expensive!

Maybe I should suck it up and pay the extra shipping to order more while they're cheap.

I ordered some of their stamps for Christmas and can confirm that they do look good--the main difference is that they will be printed glossy, rather than the matte that is standard for USPS stamps.

I've also gotten their calendars and regular mugs (not the stainless steel kind, which I just ordered), and they look good, too. Zazzle is way better than, say, CafePress.

Royal Mail does photostamps, but they're terribly expensive. I told you I was cheap.

I am very tempted to order the tiny photocards you can get of your Flickr photos from Moo, but am dissuaded, because all the pricing appears to be in dollars and there's no way to select UK postage instead of international, even though the cards are made in London.

I may write to the Moo people and ask if this can really be right. I'm not, not, not paying $4.95 postage.
