I assume that means that Supernatural is filmed in Canada? CKR tends to turn up in most Canadian-filmed series at some point or another!

(Got Supernatural DVDs on order as everyone keeps telling me that it's worth watching).

I will say this about SPN: most of the stories, episodically, are half-baked, but they've snagged some damned fine guest stars. Now they need to snag said stars and give them something to do. (Please let season 2 be dark and brutal as hell. More pain!)
