I can nail a board to something! I triumph!

So yesterday at Sam's Club, I almost missed the padded mailers, although I was specifically looking for them, because I was foolishly looking for padded mailers out in the open, maybe bundled in plastic or something, and it turned out that they only had them in BOXES.

HUGE boxes.

Well, boxes of 25 mailers apiece, anyway. narcissuskisses saw me coming towards ( Read more... )

i get all my bubble mailers on ebay. $14.50 for a box of 100 -- even with outrageous shipping charges it still comes out to be dirt cheap

Hmmm. That's like $.14 a mailer--but how much is the shipping?

(If it's more than $3.00, then it raises the price to $.17 a mailer--are you talking about 6x9 or 8.5x11?)

Don't be silly, I just wanted to get those VHS tapes out of the house. And god knows I need something to do with all the stamps I feel compelled to buy.

*"And it needs to be 19.5 inches long."

Where the fuck do you think you are? Uppity damn college kids don't know how to talk right. Point five my ass. You measure boards, and pretty much anything else in the hardware/lumber store, in fractions with powers of two in the denominator. 1/2, 5/16, 11/32, 29/64. Jeez.

As far as I know, all Sam's Clubs only stay open until 8:30, cause when home office sends out their memo about the holiday hours, it's a general timeframe for all stores. For the holidays, they are open until 9pm and 7pm on Sunday's (as opposed to their regular closing time of 6 pm).
