[Despite how much he hates it, Harry's put all his Pokémon in their balls due to the weather, except for James the Pikachu, who just. Hates PokéBalls. And rain. But he still sits on Harry's shoulder, taking shelter under the umbrella Harry's carrying. They're walking back from the Mart, a bag of food and things in Harry's hand, when he sees this strange new person.]

Have you seen a Pokémon like that before, James?

[He nudges PikaJames with his cheek, and slows down to stare at ActualJames. Huh. The dude looks REALLY FAMILIAR. Gonna just. Stare now.]

[Whilst in the middle of prying his Poochyena off of his gear he blinks at the mention of his name and turns around. His jaw drops as he looks up. Hoooly crap, this kid looks--kinda... familiar? Those eyes....

Blinking once more he shakes his head and closes his mouth.]

[Harry jumps in his skin when he's caught, nearly knocking James off his shoulder.]
