Easy Shepard's Pie

1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 package brown gravy mix
1 package (10 oz.) frozen peas and carrots or mixed vegetables, thawed
1-1/4 cups water
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
2 lbs. all-purpose potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed
2 tsp. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 425°. Spray 2-quart
