I've been eagerly anticipating getting my paws on a copy of the latest Cabal novel - what's new? - but I've hit a snag and am wondering if someone could help me out

payapayapapaya and I were talking about doing a group order to save on shipping from the UK, but when she went to go find us two copies she mentioned that just about everywhere was all sold out.
I just checked Amazon.co.uk (where I was planning on getting it) and it's listed as temporarily out of stock too, so we may be out of luck for a while? I do believe that Amazon.co.uk will ship directly to you though, so that may be a good place to go once it comes back in stock.
On the bright side, it has really good reviews on Amazon! Wauuuugh why is it all sold out? And why is it in limbo regarding US publishing?
I, uh, found a proof copy on Abebooks. It's also where I found my proof copy of JCtD! As of RIGHT NOW there are several regular-release paperbacks in stock there- only in the UK, so the pound conversion'll get you, but shipping is not too terrible. Other than that... I believe Amazon UK and Waterstones have quoted about a 2-week wait for the hardcover. No news yet as to the e-book or US/North American editions. :C

Hey, no problem! I think I'd implode if I actually waited for the American release, and I don't doubt that might be the case for most of us here. ;3; Still yearning for the hardcover edition, though!
If you're still looking to get your hands on a copy, or for anyone else who is: If you have a Kindle, switch your Kindle's country to the UK (Your Account > Manage Kindle > Your Kindle Account > Country Settings), and you'll be able to download the digital version of the book via Amazon.co.uk. You'll need to enter a UK address for billing, but as Amazon doesn't verify physical addresses unless a physical object is needing to be delivered, you can use an address generator to whip one up. When you're done, simply switch your Kindle's country back.
Voilà! Instant Cabal. Since the price is in Euros you're still paying more than you likely would for a copy when it comes out in the US, but I think the instant gratification and shipping savings balance out the extra cost--and it's still well under the insane secondhand market prices popping up on Amazon.
