Not a bad effort, Arthur, old chap. My guitarist/on-off lover managed to score me a demo copy, and I've been listening to it this past week. Very nice. Not quite the unadulterated work of brilliance your last album was though. Shame.

I do have quite a soft spot for Carlos Wilcox. Some great lyrics there. Who's that one based on again? Not your drummer who overdosed, was it?

Dissappearing London is pretty catchy. First single, perhaps?

A little bird told me that my manager met up with yours last week. I believe the possibility of you and Sergei Bragin touring this year was discussed. My manager's thinking August sometime. Looking forward to playing the San Francisco Bathhouse.

See you at Bic Runga's party next week?

From Poschiavo Records located in Hampton, London comes... b_rob December 10 2007, 10:34:18 UTC
Adrienne Clarkson Presents new album, Carpetani.

With its mix of techno hits that have burned up the dance charts like VR Mode, London Buses route 110 and the 10 minute epic that is Evacuation process simulation. These songs will be sure to last at least until the end of the week.

The love ballad Shinya Izumi stands alone on this album, sounding radically different the rest of the music with its soft jazz and use of completely acoustic sounds.

North American Meat Processors Association, the comedy infused electronica that will also get you to think is also worth a listen.

And yes,Red letter edition is the single that will soon be featured on the soundtrack of the major motion picture, Doomsday Book 1. Commerzbank-Arena ( ... )

Ahhh, so something decent actually came out of Poschiavo records! After all that utter pap they've been churning out these days, I thought they'd well be on their way out!

Brilliant album, my dear. Looks like the gang from Adrienne Clarkson hasn't lost their touch! Although I'm not too sure about this 10 minute epic business. I reckon that Evacuation process simulation could be cut down by at least four minutes. Does it really need that drony synth bass solo in the middle?!

Shinya Izumi, however, is one of the most beautiful love songs I've heard all year. Tell me, Robert, does Adrienne Clarkson do weddings? My guitarist/on-off lover and I have been talking about getting it over with and getting married. Can't say I'd mind walking up the aisle to that song...

I am quite fond of Red Letter Edition as well. I hear Doomsday Book flopped at the box office, though. Shame ( ... )

'You will all do this meme.'

Peculiarly enough, I was sufficiently amused that I did! I haven't done anything like this since 2004. But we all know that Raven Crag's album Thaksin will be a classic for the ages!

My goodness! The great Andre Axver, legendary metal guitarist and song writer from Raven Crag wrote to me, Erin Kavanagh, bassist and lyricist of a humble kiwi folk/punk/country/blues band!

Well, you know I'm not a metal fan at all. But I did enjoy Thaksin. Your guitar solos are simply incredible, my dear. Is it true that you were tutored by none other than John Petrucci of Dream Theatre and the Edge of U2?

Hueytown, Alabama is definitely my favourite track. So scathing and wonderful! Quite partial also to Stolnic...whoever thought an essay on Romanian history would translate into such a powerful and hypnoptic metal song? Quite simply genius ( ... )
