So after six months I could throw them out though. I literally have like 10 or 12 of these things.
The jeans I have are men's jeans that I purchased to fit me, so they are still kinda fashionable, but even if I lost the weight it wouldn't fit the same cause my body is so different. *sigh*
Ack! I injured my shoulder six years ago vacuuming (no euphemism intended), but it gets reinjured a lot doing what I think you were doing. *laughs* Would've thought the shoulder would be so important for that?
Your house sounds like mine. We keep waaaay too much stuff. There seems to be a bad little spirit who sits on my shoulder and whispers, "But, you might need that some day..."
SEason 2 definitely took GA to a new place. What I liked about the show is that everyone is flawed. Meredith is like "the heroine" but damn, she has problems. George is likeable, but you want to kick him. Christina is a bitchy, but she can be vulnerable. Bailey is a hard ass, but she's got a smooshy side. And oh god, I loved it when she took on the Chief to put her back in the rotation after she had the baby. She rocks.
The train wreck episode is haunting and gorgeous and tortured, and my son and I love to discuss the decision-making that went on. I think it was probably the best ep of the series.
I am so wearing my undies inside out tomorrow. God, I need a good laugh.
Season 1 of GA was a lot of character building, like that climb to the top of that rollercoaster..."Everybody all set?...Now...Season TWO!!!"
That train wreck ep had me in a massive puddle of tears. But the bomb one did me in. The overlay of repetitive imagery, the perspective on things, George...Oh, Man...George talking to Bailey. Loved it.
Just think, people will wonder why you are grinning tomorrow and just the idea of explaining it to them makes me snort out loud.
I don't think GA will fair well against regular season programming that I watch, like VM. I think GA really came around in Season 2 and if they expand upon that then it bodes well but Season 1???...when everyone was gaga? no. I do like it though, and it makes me roll my eyes a lot less than House does. House is good snark, but only House appeals to me, the other characters, not so much. That's where GA wins out. Really, I think Meredith is the only one I roll my eyes at when she tries to pull out the wit
( ... )
I don't really have to get "caught up" with Scrubs though, do I? I mean, it's not like I have to know a lot of history, right?
Yeah, that's true about House. But I like the supporting characters to be more than they are in House. Wilson is indeed, awesome. The rest are mreh to me. I still like it, enough to beg and plead for the DVDs. It also tugs at my "oh-come-on" smirk a bit when they have an amazingly mysterious ailment all the time. I realize that is House's specialty and the basis for the show but...I know, I'm weird. Still, I do love it, I mean where else are you going to see an illness caused by a cock handler? *dies laughing even though it's not really funny*
Anyhoo, my question was....I don't have to be caught up on Scrubs, right? I can just watch and love?
