It is so heartwarming that they can now be happy together unlike the heartbreak of the past.

Great fic.

Awwww this was heart meltingly good. The beginning, with Arthur remembering how hard it had been for him to keep himself from admitting his love for Merlin; that even physically it was hard to contain that love was powerful. Loved all the memories, especially them splashing in the stream together. The way they finally came together again felt so simple, but so layered and perfect. I think this line was my favorite: “The only thing I regret is that I couldn’t be completely yours. But my heart…my heart Merlin has always been there, right in your hands.” That was just beautiful.

I'm so happy that you liked this piece and especially that you liked the way they came together in the end. At first I didn't know well how to write it, therefore it means a lot to me that you thought it was good! And I'm so happy that you liked that line too! I've a weak point for the image of putting your heart in someone's else hands!

Thank you very much for reading and for this kind comment! It totally made my day! :)

Ahh. That's good. The memories have solidified for both of them and now they know who they were/are and now there is no duty to stand between them. That is so good to read.

That was lovely. I really liked how they were both remembering the past but wanting more than what they'd had before. Great job.
