Life List - Updated 8/2/10

I've been meaning to make a list like this for awhile, but I only think of a few things at a time. So I'm going to start it here and add to it as I think of things, cross others off as I complete them.

Going to try to be more amibitious with the list. We'll see how it goes.

Things to do before I go:

Hey E-- I like this idea, if ok by you I might do the same-- I never know what to put on LJ-- but this list- seems doable and reasonable.

We should go to the opera in SF sometime--the same day tix are quite reasonable! Is there one you really want to see?

We are going to see the Grand Canynon at the end of July- I can't wait!

You should see Glaciers on your Alaska cruise--they are strange and breathtaking.
A fancy tea-party sounds awesome!!

I think it's a great idea to follow up with your own.. I got the idea from other blogs, so it's open to sharing.

I don't know anything about Opera at all. But I feel like it's something I should do once, especially since we live so close to a good opera house.

When I originally moved cross-country, I had planned to drive. My parents talked me out of it. So I have not seen the Grand Canyon yet. Sad, but true. It's cool that you're going! I look forward to hearing about it.

I do expect to see glaciers on the cruise. It's part of the reason I wanted to do the cruise after the wedding in Anchorage.

I've heard different reports from different owners of chickens about their temper, etc. The ones I've met seem pretty docile. Mostly I think it would be cool and fresh eggs are worth the trouble.

I'd love to do tomatoey things like salsa and such. We go through a lot of canned tomatoes every winter.

My life is at an inflection point of sorts and I'm actually working on a couple of things that would make such a list list which is why the idea of writing one is compelling at the moment. I am excited by your list and hope you enjoy the experiences therein -- the one time I attended an opera was something I'll remember for the rest of my life, for instance.
