I've been considering ordering a notebook to keep my bread experiment notes in. It would be good to note how much garlic or olives or whatever I put in so I'd know for next time. As well as times, temps, ingredient changes and results. For the time being, I'm still just posting here.

Last night steluch and I made dinner for arkibet's birthday. (poached salmon, ( Read more... )

Thinking about order a couple things from moleskin to test out for this and other purposes. Would you like another reporter's notebook or two? Do you get them quad or just ruled?

I get my moleskins quad, though I think I prefer the book-style Moleskines to the Reporters. You're welcome to jot a bit in both of mine to get a feel for your preferences.

I always enjoy reading about your cooking experiments, ingredient lists (even though we get the same box), and menu ideas. I like food! Can you tell?

Oh - thank you so much for everything! I brought the bread into work with me, and forgot and left it on the counter. I was going to eat it with lunch. We had a meeting at 2pm where we discovered someone usurped our conference room. So we went to the break room where Garth sat down at the table and looked in the bag with the bread. I told him that it was this yummy garlic bread my friend baked yesterday. He ate the whole thing while running the meeting! He loved it.

So just know nothing went to waste :)
