Okay, you win the kewpie doll. You just had to use all the prompts at once, didn't ya? *smart ass*

That was brilliant even if it took me giving you the perfect prompts to make it happen. j/k LOL!

I loved the picture you painted. Each prompt used perfectly for the right person. Fred with the flowers, Wesley with the poem, Gunn the prayer and - the best of course - Angel causing the deaths before but now promising *this* one will not be the same. This promise, of course, would be a great stepping off point for a full-blown fic in case you hadn't noticed. ;)

Thanks for playing!

Come on! How could I not? I wrote them down on an envelope back and propped it next to my laptop and damn, it was practically the whole fic, all I had to do was fill in the pronouns. lol.

*My* Angel would tell the powers to go to hell and break the laws of heaven and hell to bring her back. Whether I ever get around to writing it down is something else altogether. :P

Sometimes I think mine would, too. But then I think would he want to put her through more shit if she was at peace? Sometimes he's very selfish and lonely and needs her desperately and does it. And sometimes he loves her too much to do it to her. He's kinda bipolar that way. :)

Yeah, lol, that's a good way of describing it.

At peace or not, some things are unacceptable, and I felt like Angel needed to say 'not her'. Not after all she'd been through. Whatever power rubs Angel's nose in the mess he's made of his unlife, they can't have Cordelia as well.

And yes, he can be very selfish about his needs and he needed her.

So.

Wow, this is just gorgeous and brought tears to my eyes. We so got gipped out of seeing Angel mourn for Cordy on Ats, which was absolutely ridiculous, but I love the scene you've painted here - very realistic and moving.

I have this feeling that you are going to turn into one of those writers who I run out of good things to say just because every piece is amazing. I already have three people like that. You are gunning for fourth. You just have this amazing way of weaving words and images. It is really powerful and stunning and yet, you use so few words. It reminds me a little of Poe in that he said that he only ever used as many words as was neccessary. You use exactly what is neccessary.

Okay. Now I'm just blushing over here.

*g*

I love your feedback (even though I wish I could do longer, plot-chewy fic).

Thank you.

Stunning...I truly believed that the Angel that had developed thoughout the 1st through 4th seasons would have tried to do something to get Cordy back not chase after cookie dough (he was so over Buffy but they just had to throw it back in there). and shag the werewolf character(I hated her). Anyway awesome job, as usual

Thanks!

And yeah, I couldn't watch s5. I knew they'd either be throwing Buffy back his way with the intro of Spike, or they'd be throwing someone new at him.

Turns out both happened.

Bastards.
