Now that I've learned that one of my FAVORITE groups, The Corsairs, are retiring, I'm determined to make it to Scarby to catch some of their last shows ... and to get some HUGS. It is still a haul to Waxahachie. Almost an hour, depending on traffic, from DFW, about 45 minutes or so from Love Field.
I recommend the Best Western Gingerbread Inn on I35 in Waxahachie. But book now, they usually fill up for Memorial Day Weekend.
