It's pretty amazing what your body will do despite being hurt. Adrenaline is a life savor.

Yeah it is. Sometimes I'm glad I'm more emotion-driven than most. And sometimes... not so glad.

It's a double edged sword, passion drives you, and it can also leave you empty and wrung out. Gotta find a balance. If there is one.

Was in college and got in a fight. Punched a guy and somewhere in the fight, I broke my hand. Didn't even realize it 'til after.

And another... walked into a hostage situation without knowin' it. Became one of the hostages and when I was tryin' to text work or Don... guy caught me and stomped on my hand a few times. That one hurt.

Neither. Can you believe it? Once was me bein' stupid and another was out of my control.

Worst part about an injury like that is how long it takes to heal. You keep expecting it to be better and then yelping.

Oh yeah, and it can be mental too. You know, you think somethin's there but it isn't. A pain, somethin' pressing too hard, twistin' the wrong way... You know...
