The final Blog entry?? Already! This class seemed to fly by!

The first major discovery I made during the duration of this course was about myself. I have always been a procrastinator and the thought of having to self regulate and motivate was intimidating. In September, Debbie basically stressed me out from the get go about the amount of students

Thanks! I like your idea to cover poetry. In fact, in my "face to face" class we read some for Remembrance day and it was quite successful (goes away to think about next year's class...)

Hi,

Firstly, I would agree that after our orientation night. I was rather stressed as well when Debbie talked about past students in the class dropping out and not finishing. I thought yikes! could this be me? I have, however, noticed there are a couple of students in the class that I really enjoyed talking too and now there gone. :-( From the blogs I have read so far about final thoughts, I noticed your the next person who has said that you didn't really care for Holt's essay. I actually liked it, but I would not say it was one of my favourites. In reading "Green Winter" if was definitely a nice change from other essays we have read. I found the pictures Franke created really effective in getting her point across to the reader. I guess pictures do speak a thousand words. I would also agree that reading poetry would have been a very different piece of writing to analyze and most definitely a nice change from essays and articles.
