Christa - UGH you are one of my absolute faves. I always look forward to spending time with you and chatting because it's always just the right amount of laughing, gossiping, real talk and comfortable silence. I'm so proud of you for the move you made to Florida to spread your wings, but I would be lying if I said I am sad you came back to MD since you are so much closer again! I admire how introspective you are. You always seem to be soul searching and trying to better yourself. I enjoy being along for the ride of you growing as a person and I really hope you remember that it's about the journey and not the destination.

OH ALEX. I know that BFF titles are super weird for grown-ups and there are all these awkward politics about WHO IS WHO and blah blah blah but you're one of mine and I love that you exist. There are few people who have stayed friends with me after extended road trips and having to tolerate concentrated doses of my chattering and bossiness and snoring and we've GONE HALFWAY ACROSS THE COUNTRY TOGETHER and are still close. I love that you're someone I can get drunk with at Disney World, along with being someone that I can text from the room next door and say that I'm not coming out yet because I need more alone time. I love that Mabel is your icon because that's basically who you are in my head -- you're so wonderfully enthusiastic and WEIRD and DGAF about being weird~~ and you're so loving and I especially admire how you let yourself feel things 100%. ELLIE!!!!!!! Oh man you have NO IDEA how excited I was when you texted me asking if you could still come to shore. I was capping it and sending it to Christa like "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DOES SHE EVEN HAVE TO ASK OMG" . I love you so much. We have known each other for a long ass time (will it really be 7 years???) and you have been there for me through some really rough times. You are so genuine and caring and fierce and protective and like Christa said, you just let yourself feel things so purely. I know you have been through your share of personal shit and I really admire how you have come through it stronger than ever and not letting it get you down. I really really really hope you will be able to make it in Sept but I totally understand if you can't. But, if not, the house will definitely feel less like shore. ♥
