Mapping sewers? Ouch, in all appearances that's a demotion and a half. Although, Grumman's a schemer of sorts - I wonder why he put Falman down there?
That tunnel sounds quite like the sort of thing I'd expect to be produced by manga!Sloth, but this is anime-based. Either a nice melding of the two here, or something else completely mystifying. -- And it disappears o_o Now that's definitely mystifying! Hmmm.
*snickersnickersnicker* Gotta love the top-secret codenames.
Yay! And so the military dogs find out about this business too, excellent. I love those guys and it's not fair to leave them completely out of the action.

There is a reason for Grumman's activities, the peekaboo tunnel, Sheska's appearance, and the Tringhams' finds. (Also, I love cameos.) Unfortunately, I can't really explain much of it without giving a lot of spoilers. Glad you noticed the similarity to Sloth's tunnel and liked the not-so-secret codenames!
It will be interesting to see how all these plot threads tie together! The last scene was my favorite, though. I'm glad we got to see Ed, Al, and Maes's arrival from the vantage point of the rest of Mustang's staff.

Worry not, the way Chapter Four's going at the moment, it'll make up for any shortfalls in word count for Chapter Three!
