Fascinating. An yeah, one could keep all the Leobens straight (so to speak!).

The hypothesis of God's purpose made evident through the interplay of pleasure and pain, presented as dogma and a rationale, is just brilliant.

I loved that he thought of one of himselves as 'his Leoben'.

I loved these lines: God is random, God is planned, God gave them all the beautiful capacity for pleasure...
