Well here you go, a woman who is not afraid to speak her mind. Yay. But what to do when her mind goes against what you believe in?

Over at flinkdesign, a blogger called Mir (a technonerd feminist) has a huge entry against the Take Back the Tech campaign, ranting against how the campaign places women once again in a "victim", us-against-them

my own reading of the seemingly off-center Ipod comment is this: the matter-of-factness with which some women regard and use technology (like in the non-challant way she deals with a damaged Ipod) in fact signifies the a type of violence in techno-society. we (meaning the women who has access to technology) do not see that we are in fact part of the equation, on the other side of which are, to borrow her own metaphor, the women canaries in the coal mines
