So, yesterday was good. Melbourne Cup lunch wasted the afternoon nicely. I think they should just make it a nationwide public holiday - no one gets any work done on Melbourne Cup Day anyway, so why not formalise it? I bet on a couple of horses but they both sucked. My boss picked the winner and he reckons that he's picked something like nine

Yeah, definitely. Worth even the eight month postponement, the dreadful public transport and the incredibly sore feet!
