Neat character piece here. I think it fits the June we know in canon pretty well -- prioritizes money and lives by her own terms. It's funny that playing with the coins catches her attention better than her father beating up the guy. But even then, the idea of escaping for a little bit to the river entices her. It shows that she wants the freedom to do what she wants, which she'll get before the time we're introduced to her. Like how you interpreted the "glitter" prompt as well. The coins aren't literal glitter, but they definitely work.
Thank you. I put glitter through a thesaurus and got all of these *sparkly* words. It's a bit ironic to me that June, being so materialistic, doesn't have any jewelry other than a skull-hairpiece.
