Costa Rica and Me Complaining
Today was relatively uneventful, at least in the general sense of something significant happening, though I certainly didn't lack for lots of small, insignificant things to pass the time. Mmm. How does one WRITE an l/j? I am reading back over my entry and realizing just HOW inane it sounds. So. I am changing tactics. I didn't do much today. There.

whenever i speak a foreign language to a native speaker, i'm not usually afraid of my grammar or my accent (because i know it's not perfect), but i'm afraid that when they speak back to me, i won't understand! which, 99% of the time, it happens. so i had a reality check too when i went to paris, and couldn't understand a SINGLE THING.
also, the other day, when i went biking, there were some people speakign spanish about me (since i was decked out in my biker outfit, and my bike was out front at the store i was at), these two guys were like "blah blah blah spanish blah blah blah BICICLETA blah blah blah mas espanol blah blah blah." i was trying so hard to figure it out, but it reeeeeally didn't work out too well. oh well. no importante.
