Verfluchten Sonnenlicht!

Feb 15, 2006 07:56

The sun is coming up now, so i guess the time for me to be leaving is drawing close.  For the better part of the past two weeks, I've been completely nocturnal.  So basically I sleep from 8-9ish AM until 4-5 PM, which is pretty much the traditional work day.  The reasons for this are mostly tied into the people I share my office with, or at least 6 ( Read more... )

When you say "leaving" do you mean going to bed, or work (as in you're back on people time)? As I'm sure you know, I completely approve of the nocturnalness - especially for people avoiding reasons. Isn't it great? Do you find yourself becoming full of resentment and distrust of Daywalkers? :P

Seriously though, those look like fairly close quarters to be working in.

I meant leaving as in going home to sleep. And I did notice just yesterday that random people get on my nerves more often than they used to. I attribute that to the fact that when people are around, it's past time for me to be in bed.

Basically a bunch of the people around my area here are douchebags. They don't like me, and I find them incessantly immature. They're also very loud and distracting. Sound like my work alot. Sadly I HAVE to around them ALL DAY. I try to remove my mind from my body and let it escape as much as possible durring that time....

That really sucks. I would totally not wish the situation on anybody. They're one of the big reasons I can't wait to get out of this city and head back home.

No, I've had to resist the urge to order it for a similar reason to yours. When I previewed it on Amazon.ca I simply couldn't stop reading until I'd run right to the end of the free stuff. I imagine the same would be true in the even that I had the actual book in my hands, simply moreso.

I'm disappointed, all those years we hung out and you never learned how to co-exist with loud, abnoxious, immature douchebags? I feel like you've forgotten me baby
