Mr. Gould has decided to put on the play "Tom Jones" (no relation to the singer) which is a play set during the 18th century in England. I wonder if there were any Asians in England during that time; maybe i'll be lucky and there'll be a slave part

ugh i remember when you didn't get the part in "arsenic" just because you were asian. that's so dumb. especially since this is HIGH SCHOOL and not hollywood!! it's not like people are going to go "WHAT?! WHY IS THAT ASIAN GUY THERE??! THAT CHARACTER'S NOT ASIAN!" *walks out*

Geez, Gould really needs to find plays where an Asian person can fit in a role comfortably. And I second the comment about non-Asians playing Asians (or like in the silent film era with whites playing blacks).

In any case...um, I don't know if people say "break a leg" in the drama department before getting a role. but yeah, there's the thought. XD;
