Lonesome Dove! Recap! For that one episode! I've forgotten the name! The Cowboy!Callum ep!
It all starts with bad, bad whiskey... um, ... mixers? They mix whiskey! And it's totally bad whiskey. People die when they drink it. They all die when they drink that whiskey and it's all very bad. The good guys start searching for the bad guys.
Cut to the bad guys. The bad guy boss tells CKR that he has to shot the girl. Because the girl has seen all their faces. Which is bad. That's why she has to die. But CKR is totally in love with the girl. Conflict, you can see that, right?
CKR takes the girl out to the conveniently near woods. He tells her that he has been told to shot her. But he just can't. Yay! He's one of the good guys!
He tells her that he's going to fake her death and that she has to run away. Which she does.
Stuff happens in the good guy world. CKR is still in the bad guys world. But he's a good guy! It can't be for long, right?
The bad guys are a little suspicious of CKR. Maybe because they didn't find the body of the girl? I have no idea. But they are suspicious.
The bad guy boss tells one of the other bad guys that he should watch CKR. He does, but CKR gets rid of him. He actually throws him off a driving carriage, but I couldn't really cap that so you have to make do with what I tell you.
Again stuff happens in the good guy world. CKR is now in the good guy world too. I didn't really keep track of how that happened but just go with it, okay? The good guys find him and he tries to escape.
He doesn't.
They try to find out where the bad guy boss is.
They use a conveniently near water bucket for their interrogation.
It's just like Battlestar Galactica.
Except that BSG is a good series. And Lonesome Dove, you know, isn't.
He tells them again that he doesn't know where the bad guy boss is and they believe him this time.
Somehow they all arrive in the town where his girl is as well. It's probably the only town there anyway.
CKR sees his girl again.
And they are so happy! Young love! Yay! So cute!
His girl tells him that the bad guy boss was in the town a while ago.
He's a bit worried but wheee, still so happy to see his girl again! Young love! So cute!
The good guys (including CKR! Yay!) are going to search for the bad guys. CKR says goodbye to the good guy woman who took care of his girl. He's awkward and cowboy-ish and charming! Like Jimmy Stewart!
He says goodbye to his girl.
The good guys arrive at the bad guy hide out.
CKR gets cornered by the bad guy boss.
And the bad guy boss is totally going to shoot him.
But his girl saves him! Because she's a good girl! And brave! Yay!
CKR looks adequately saved.
Again stuff happens. Only in the good guy world this time because the bad guy world is gone, gone, gone.
In the end, CKR is waiting for his girl. I love that shot.
And his girl says goodbye to the good guy women (who gave her a pretty new dress, because that's what good girls get for being good) and then she runs to CKR. Because he's the love of her life!
