And since I concentrated on the phone calls yesterday I managed to miss this, Don McKellar about Hope and Curtis (about minute 18 in the commentary to I Look Like Joyce DeWitt):

I always thought Callum is someone who knows how to work that real well, he always, as soon as he meets a girl, goes into all his problems and his alcoholism and his... -in the past- and all his issues and, you know... they're suckers for that.
And that's my other excuse to why she feels, why she.... why she's with Curtis, she's got a kinda [...] she wants to save him. And I know that's wrong, but that's the way it often works.
Which just... made me crack up. Oh, Don. Oh, Callum.
