...I am still trying to get some work done, ignoring emails and stuff, but. But. I had to look into the Twitch City DVDs once more, and. They didn't do much with bonus features, there are a few pictures, nothing too exiting, of Don McKellar, Molly Parker, Daniel McIvor and Bruce McDonald. But. There also are two commentaries on the first disk. For I slept With My Mother and I Look Like Joyce DeWitt. Don McKellar all alone, sitting in the studio and talking about the series. Nice. Much better though is that he calls other actors cell phones while he does that commentary.
He talks with Daniel McIvor for a while, who of course can't wait to talk about Callum. And uses the opportunity to tell the whole world what "a complicated and beautiful man" Callum is. (Oh, Daniel, you are the best fangirl of all of us. ♥) And also that he was kind of...bratty (I think that's what he said? I am not quite sure if I understood him correctly, but it seemed to be right in that context.) at that time, when they were shooting TC.
I only listened to parts of the commentaries (because I am "working" right now, you understand), but I think for I Look Like Joyce DeWitt he talked to Daniel McIvor again. He also tried to call Molly Parker, and only reached her voice mail, and left her a looong and sentimental message. And he also talked to CKR's voice mail ("Hi, Cal! It's me, Don.") who was in Vancouver at that time, auditioning for Battlestar Galactica.
