I don't know what the strar forum fanatics are, or if that's a misspelling, but there's some argument in these comments I'd like to draw your attention to: Alyssa Milano for Catwoman in a Batman sequel? Are they kidding?

I've been an on and off fan of Milano since her Who's the Boss? days. I even liked her in Charmed, at least the first three ( Read more... )

Agreed, Alyssa Milano is no Catwoman. I missed a lot of the last season of "My Name is Earl," but I did catch maybe two eps with her in it. She was standard sitcom fare, that's all. She's not in the new season so far, and I have no idea if she's coming back.

And if they picked Angelina Jolie, they'd be picking her just because she's Angelina Jolie.

Good term! I don't see her breaking out of it... and maybe she shouldn't. I think she could be quite successful as a Melinda Clarke-kind of actress, who plays a vamp/vixen in various shows. There are a lot of those actresses who "missed their time," and show up now as parents or 30-40 year olds. Kelly Rutherford's doing an awesome job in Gossip Girl right now, and given another few years Milano could pull off adult roles.

I can't watch Angelina Jolie anymore. As awesome as Wanted looked, in terms of plot and James McAvoy, watching Freeman/Jolie rehash the same roles again turned me off. I'm hoping they don't go there.

(Note I'm completely ignoring Katie Holmes going from Dawson's Creek to Bale's love interest in Batman Begins. That was an anomaly, and it was the influence of Scientology aliens that affected the future to grab her that role.)

I'm really liking that getthebigpicture.net site. I even added it to Google Reader, which was my first add.

Lol scientology. I think Nolan learned from going with Katie Holmes to not ever do that sort of thing again.

ITA. As far as I can remember from Charmed she was simply meh in the dramatic episodes. It was the comedy ones that were always her best.
