Christian Bale to star as John Connor in a fourth Terminator film

If I squee'd, this would be the time.

It's a shame Furlong fell headlong into drugs because he was talented, albeit kind of a wuss. I have issues with Nick Stahl, he's like a blank canvas who doesn't use it to advantage in his acting. (Carnivale, case in point.) I saw the third ( Read more... )

I liked the concept, that there was nothing they could do to stop the war and destruction. 2 ended with them still trying to avert the apocalypse, and three showed that it was going to happen no matter what.

But, gah, the execution left a lot to be desired. It might've been better off as a graphic novel!

(it's when sarah etches it into the picnic table that john realizes she's going after skynet)

I thought the second really set up to show they were going to thwart the war, and especially that line shows we have free will and humans won't be destroyed. I think it was a bold move to show that they couldn't avoid it.
