Man, I need to start watching Rome.

Rome is so much fun. _guy_incognito said he didn't get into it until the 4th ep, but I liked it from the beginning. I'd also read I, Claudius a few months before starting it, so I recognized the whole Germans-stealing-the-eagle (which is like the first thing that happens in the show, so it's not really a spoiler).

Oh, it gets raunchy and has too much sex, etc., but it's an historical soap opera of ruling families in Rome-what else could it be? Although I'm rather glad it was canceled before the audience would have wanted it canceled.
