Agreed, that is a problem. Of course, it's not helped by the fact that his biographer shouldn't even have known about some of the meetings she apparently attended.

Yes, the FBI is capible of reading anyone's email. Not, however, Everyone's, since they don't have nearly enough manpower or computing cycles to do it. I'm not worried at all since the FBI doesn't have a reason to be looking a my email since I'm not a party to a criminal complaint OR director of the CIA.

Though I do have military intelligence experience, maybe I should send President Obama a resume since there's an opening.......
