[Headshake. Not a bother, really. She got sick herself this time last year, too.] I'm used to hearing about it. People always get sick in this place around this time of year, even if they're prepared. It can catch you off guard if you're not ready.

Dunno how hard it'd be t'find here, but whenever I got sick, Mom used t'give me baiju - always seemed t'knock it out pretty quick. [Some would argue that after a cup of that, esp. as a kid, NOBODY would care about silly things like a cold anymore...]

It has been pretty cold'n wet; colder'n it ever got in Osaka - Bas hasn't even been wanting t'come out much. [Guess who's getting a heavier coat and some solid winter gear, especially if he's going to be stuck flying on the back of a giant dinosaur. :/ ]

Yes, and I grew up in the desert. Winter was cooler, and there was rain, but never really cold.
