"Mommy," Kenna asked, moving over to the chair Adora was sitting in.
Adora hooked her finger over the edge of the book and looked up. "Yes, Munchkin?"
"Can I have some cocoa, please?" Adora smiled and nodded.
"That sounds wonderful." Kenna smiled and Adora reached for the small ribbon she was using to hold her page. "Would you like to make it, Ken?" The small flash in Kenna's eyes made Adora smile as she closed the book.
Standing up, Adora set the book down on the chair and pulled Kenna toward her. As Kenna's cheek pressed against her hip, Adora put an arm around her and looked down. "I can't wait until you're a few inches taller, kiddo, so that I can kiss you from here."
"Mama," Kenna grumbled. Adora laughed and nodded toward the kitchen.

"Will you get this stuff of my face, 'dor?" Wyatt asked as he moved into the bedroom and tossed the hat onto the bed. Adora waved him into the bathroom and motioned for him to sit on the counter.

As he hopped up onto the counter, Adora reached down and helped Wyatt's feet out of the green slippers. She gave them a shake and saw his eyes roll slightly as the bells tinkled.
"Did the kids have a good time?" she asked, stepping between his legs and reaching around Wyatt for the jar of cold cream Hilary had given her for removing makeup.
"They did," he said in a monotone. Adora smiled and straightened.
"Did you have a good time?" she asked, trying to bite back the smile as she unscrewed the lid on the jar

DG huffed and gave her big sister an annoyed frown. "He is the biggest... stupid..." Az couldn't help but smile.
"Still hasn't asked?" It didn't take a team of Zone scientists to know just who DG was talking about nor what he hadn't yet done. "Deeg," Az said as she moved toward DG, "come here." She took DG's hand and led her to the nearest window seat.
DG dropped down to the cushion with a flump and groaned. "How much more obvious can I make it? I've dropped hints!" Az simply sat, waiting for DG to get it out of her system. "I mean, I know the guys back home were thick, but God..." she groaned.
"Ask him," Az said simply.
"If he can't get a hundred hints, Az, asking him why he isn't-"
"No, Deeg," Az said, reaching for DG's hands, "Ask him." She smiled at the blank look on DG's face. "I love
