Fi has gone out running, as she often does, and Max has taken this opportunity to curl up on his big, comfy couch and sleep.

He's missed sleeping.

How much he's missed it, exactly, is directly proportional to the amount of drool leaking out onto his favorite, fluffy pillow.

This, Max thinks, is ridiculous.

He just met Fiona, and the only reason they ended up in bed together was because she was probably just bored and looking for something to do (pun intended), and now he's pacing circles down in the bar, waiting for her to show up to dinner.
