There is a reason why Max swore he wouldn't watch this season of the show that is really Ben's world, but when ~The Internet~ told him that there was going to be an episode titled "Dr. Linus" he just had to watch.

So, he did.

Judging by the weepy look on his face, he probably shouldn't have.

He's down in the bar proper now, in search of floss from Bar

Ben has...actually not been here for quite some time. What with being paid "fabulous sums of money" (ha! government salary) for being a top secret spy, there hasn't been any space in Ben's schedule for a visit at a time-bending pandimensional bar.

Except he's found himself here, now, and doesn't feel particularly inclined to walk back out. So he's sitting at the bar, drinking a cup of coffee, unaware that a certain husband of his is on the prowl for some floss.

Ben will not be unaware for long.

Max spots the back of his husband's head from a couple of feet away, resists the urge to run up and cling to him (it looks like he's holding something, and Max does not want to be responsible for a stained shirt) and, instead, carefully approaches.

He sniffles.

"Ben?"

Normally he would be pleased to hear that voice, but not after it's been preceded by a sniffle. He turns around with a frown. "Is everything all right?"

There is lip-quivering. It's only a slight quiver, but it's definitely noticeable.

"I love you."
