So, this past Saturday was the 90th birthday party of the lovely Irish grandmother of a local cop/regular at the Pub. We were offered an honorarium plus a hotel room for the night...but all of us would have done it for nothing, especially after seeing the smiles on that lady's face all day and into the night. How is he? I haven't seen him in at least 10 years.

Did I tell you that he escorted me around my first Pennsic? It was Pennsic 18, I was greener than grass. I got to go places that no newbie would ever have been able to go, because I was in his company.

He was my first big SCA crush.

He's doing mostly well. Living in NH at the moment...and I didn't know any of that before now :-)
