I have heard of (but not yet found myself) a story which claims this might be a false flag trying to stir anti-Putin sentiment. Might explain the masks mentioned in the story I linked, but I'm still not comfortable.

It does taste a might "Anchlussy" doesn't it? Snopes has an article on this (http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/ukraine.asp) and the news looks...mixed. As in the person & group who supposedly sent it out say they did no such thing and maybe someone is just causing trouble.

Not sure what to make of this specific thing but I am deeply troubled by it. Given its just about the centenniel of WWI, I get nervous waiting for a second "damned foolish thing in the Balkans" to blow up again.

The financial world is in similar turmoil as was the case in 1914. The Balkans are always in turmoil, but 100 years ago a perfect storm of such like what seems to be brewing now caused some serious trouble.

You and I may disagree on some things politically...but I know we *both* are historically aware.

From my research, it was a flyer posted n one city by an anonymous group with NO political standing and there was no place to 'register'. As a friend in that area pointed out ... this is not really all that new, there are always idiots doing stupid things.
It's NOT Russian or Ukraine sanctioned.
