That may be the cutest smiley-thingie I've ever seen! *g*
Sorry, didn't mean to embarrass you - but you know, you're good, and Cornish Birdwatchers is some of my favourite Prosfic!
I couldn't believe the sunset - I actually had just started walking through the muddy winter wood shortcut home (at least I hoped it was!) when I turned around for one more sulk at the sky and there it was! Of course then I had to slop and slither back to the road, and then I realised the sunset was behind other trees too, so I hoiked my way along another bit of unfamiliar road that looked like it might have possible openings, and... it did. Yeay! *g* I might even post it over at scene_again as a series one of these days...
I remember seeing the sunset in Australia, spread across half the horizon it seemed, and I've seen the moon rising like that too... It's often copper-coloured with it does that too, come to think of it... *g*
I bought a "Moonwise" calendar again this year - the dates/pages are ordered from new moon to new moon, which I love. I've not quite got my head around it this year - I still feel further away from it than I was back then for some reason... more inside somehow. Hmmn - maybe that's cos my living room was a conservatory back then, with windows on all three sides! I liked that... *g*
Oh, cheers, mate (and that's the sum total of my Australian). I was just about to say wow that sunset and wow that lovely bit about Doyle's close (and natural) proximity to Bodie, and Bodie almost touching Doyle (and isn't Doyle's tummy and pose sexy?), when I saw your final comment which was the best out of all of them. Hah! Seriously, thanks for all of those and I don't know about you but they've certainly made me happy just reading them.
You know, that was a really nice list ::sigh:: Things in the sky! and that photo! (yes indeed).
We had a truly spectacular moonrise the other night - very beautiful, but kind of strange - like the sun on an unnaturally dark day - rather science-fictiony, like you might imagine a nuclear winter sun. Don't know why I would go and think of something scary when it was so beautiful! Maybe the sun, but as seen from another planet ...

That sunset sky is stunning, and I love the rising moon. Don't see a moonrise very often, now I come to think about it, though I'm not sure why not!
