I was surprised enough to see those grasses in the middle of the hedge - they might as well have been palm trees! *g*

The rope is cool, isn't it! I thought it was just strange tracings in the sand at first, but I liked this!

Ahhhhhh! I'm not religious in any way but whenever I see anything like that second picture (e.g. a perfect rose) I always think there *must* be a grand designer behind all these things (a part-time designer, at least). And the second tree looks almost lonely but standing so bravely against all the elements. I do think depictions of wintry scenes can be every bit as beautiful as those of the summer. Thank you!

I love the thistles around at the moment - I couldn't resist taking pics. Like you say, they just seem so perfect!

I love the shapes of trees and grasses and things silhouetted in winter too - the bare bones of them, or maybe it's the soul and essence of them, without all their summer frippery... *g*
