This icon breaks my heart a little bit every time I see it - the idea of our lads without each other... but I adore it for the depth of that very feeling, and how it reinforces that our lads are so right together. It's another icon by the fab crimson_37 - she so often went straight to the heart of it...

I am with you on country music, but the vids certainly pull my heartstrings... As does the icon. I know the theme comes up all over the place (the return, for eg.) But this one reminds me of Pamela Rose's Professional Dreamer, for some reason... Heart cracks apart again.

To be honest it's one of my favourite themes - a bullet-proof kink as we used to say! - and so many of my favourite fics involve the lads being separated by life (or something more sinister) and then brought back together again. Hmmn, maybe I should do a storylist... and I must sort out hosting palelyloitering, or some version, and... oh, but I must work first! It's not fair!

I love Professional Dreamer too - it's fun but it's also... yes, glorious for the lads finding each other when they didn't even know they were lost yet... *sighs happily*

P D is so bittersweet, for me, that frame within a frame device, the imaginary Doyle is so attractive and the way "Bodie" is forced to come out and play with him, and how hard they hang on to the illusion... On the other hand, trying to think of happier things, the scene when Doyle gets to Bodie's apartment and commandeers the shower is so brilliant!

(It took me a while to find your vids actually, I thought they'd vanished from the internet! Searching YouTube for them didn't work at all, but I eventually followed a link that had a link that had a link - and there you were! I reckon we need a Pros Vid masterlist somewhere... I must see what I can do this weekend, because we don't want to lose you (or our other fab vidders! *g*)

(Also, so nice to see you're still on lj too - hope the world is treating you at least reasonably and better still, wonderfully!)

Thanks for the good wishes!! My biggest problem is trying to keep my eyesight. Somehow I fell out of fandom doings (life thru some curveballs), but I hang out on the sidelines now.
