Well done on the knitting! It looks nice and even, good tension! :) Do you have a two needle fingerless glove pattern? I'd live to find a simple one for my students. And it's normal to have several projects on the go! ;) I'll bet the girls will love their knitted gift!
There is only a month of school to go before Winter break, and for you it'll be moving day just around that time, if I remember the date correctly.
Ha, good for you - I can't knit for toffee, but it's totally advanced topology and engineering and art as well as craft, which has only been given less respect than it deserves because it's predominantly done by women of course. A bit of time off sounds good!!! And as for Tuesday, I swear when I read that line I thought for a second that it was Tuesday now and then realised that Tuesday just went so fast I barely saw it go. I want a holiday, dammit :-s
Well done on the knitting projects! They sound lovely :) Is that a row counter thingy at one end of the needle in your pic?
I think I was more or less 8 years old when I started learning to knit. I still do occasionally, but never learned how to deal with complex patterns. Maybe I should one day. And I agree it's a peaceful, relaxing activity; but not too relaxing that you don't know what you're doing...!
Yay! for another knitting project! I confess to having a "One Ring" scarf knitting project that's been in progress for 3 years now and which is intended for a (very patient) friend. I really should try and finish it in my lifetime. Or better still, hers. The wee teddies sound delightful. I do hope you post a piccie of them once they've been sewn up.
Knitting is a wonderful thing. I have three or four projects on the run, one is a Doyle and I must finish him. I must! Because so long as he isn't finished I can't start with Bodie. And I have a crocket project, a small dadger. And I have some tablecloths and towles to finish embroidering.
