And you had clear weather for the Causeway, which was good! Love the other pictures, and also your earlier posts which I have been reading (hit and miss around here with winter bugs). Hope you are doing enough seeing to compensate for the driving!
Yes, clear weather! It's been grey but dry except for yesterday. Getting warm and sunny now - just as I have to get the ferry tomorrow. Wash! But it's been pretty good, I think. Am writing this waiting for the Newgrange shuttle, and the sun's come right out!
You can well imagine how people must have thought those stones were laid deliberately, with that crystalline structure it looks at first glance like a perfectly reasonable explanation! I do like the sound of a tower with a resident fox, too *bg*
What an amazing leg of your trip! Both the Stones and the Dark Hedges are totally atmospheric. The castle, too, come to think of it. What an absolutely great place to stay. Your room looks right out of another time. The story of Orwin and Sabrina, I'm sure, will be properly ghostly.
It was rather fab - although both places would have been more atmospheric with fewer tourists! The castle was totally atmospheric though - a bit too much so, perhaps! Was good to have other people staying there though, it meant I could be brave on their behalf (I killed spiders for them *g*). Orwin and Sabrina will have to come tomorrow though, no time right now after all. But tomorrow I'm on the ferry again... *sniffs sadly*
Oh my - I love love love the Dark Hedges - wow! And where you're staying too - jammy bugger *g*
Thank you for so many fab piccies - I've been unable to look properly or comment for a few days, but I'm going to have fun catching up with all your posts, ta ever so!
I loved the Dark Hedges too, even with people there! And the castle was my holiday treat (as if a holiday needs further treats, but sometimes... *g*) More posts definitely to come - but not tonight, sadly. Tomorrow, on the ferry, I will catch up!

Love the Dark Hedges! Bet they'd look especially spooky by moonlight.
Huzzah! for the Surprise Castle, and the not-so-surprise Ross castle (epic bed, by the way,) and its resident fox. :-)
