I do like a good staircase, I have to say... *g* It was a rather fab lighthouse - and so old! Vaulted medieval ceilings on the one hand, and monks in corners (okay, holograms of monks in corners *g*) and yet still an operational lighthouse today!
I've made it to my next accommodation - so far so good! *g*
Hurrah! It was rather odd - they didn't come up on the preview, then the second one did but the third one was awol several times, I decided hey-ho, and when I posted it properly, there it was...
The staircase pic is stunning. And WOW, what a view. I think it is one of the oldes lighthouses in the world and certainly the oldest working lighthouse in Ireland.
