The forecast was for rain and rain and rain - except for maybe half a dozen hours today, and so I decided I'd better take myself to the beach or else I'd not get there for aaages. So I did. And it was less blowy than I might have liked, but it was lovely and grey and fresh and the rain mostly held off until I got back to the car. Half an hour later

The Galaxy is a long way, but our lads will be there waiting for you - you definitely need to watch Pros again! Well, everyone does... *vbg*
Yeay your sewing (and humph lj being glitchy - there seems to be something going on again, cos a few people've had things happen. Come to think of it, I did the other day, and put it down to their new "like" feature (which I still can't see,,,)

It's very soggy here after a wild and windy night - lots of wet leaves and drizzle in the air. I quite like it. Currently sitting in a coffee shop with my book, my lappie and the papers. I may be here some time.

The ability to just go and sit in a coffee shop with my book my lappie and the papers is largely missing in my life - at least without a long drive to get there first too. I knew when I was six and we had a class debate about whether it was better to live in the city or the country that the correct answer was (in many ways) the city! I admit to having finally caved to the country though, leaving my best friend to be the lone final stand for the city - but only cos the bell had gone, and it was playtime, and I could tell that Mr F. wasn't going to let us go until he'd won!
Wet leaves and drizzle in the air - lovely! *g*

I hope the weather improves so you can still attend the quilting session.
Yay! from Pros-y things! I've been re-watching LC in Jack the Ripper. Not Pros, admittedly, but Mr C is lovely as Sgt Godley. :-)
I've also been busy with Paint Shop Pro doing something Christmas-elf-y that is canon-era and not AU. *Iz well-content old dog with new trick*
Ooooh, and I've got the Poldark Season 2 DVDs now, so I'm feeling the need to revisit Poldark-era!AU Bodie and Doyle now, but I also want to read more Larton.
So much lovely stuff to do, so little time! *vbg*

to revisit Poldark-era!AU Bodie and Doyle now
You've visited them before? Did I miss this?! And Larton! And I'm intrigued by your new trick, and hope I get to see it! *g*

Yes, I visited Poldark-era!AU Bodie and Doyle when the first series of the new Poldark aired on TV, and the pics I made are on AO3 here and here

Also - *swoons*! Is there anything I can say that will convince you to post your artwork to your own livejournal (or a comm!) as well as to A03, so that we have your lovely Pros-iness appearing in our flists to comment to? Cos I know there will be other people on my Pros flist who've not seen those pics, and everyone should be seeing your AU lads pics! Windswept Doyle... I'll just be off over here swooning a bit more... *g*

The beach looks lovely, though a bit stormy. The fourth picture, especially, looks ominous.

The beach was both lovely and ominous - the rain was really moving in, though that gorgeous dark line on the horizon had been there for a while - I caught a glimpse of it as I drove closer. So nice to be at the beach, though - I wish I lived closer!

But I was playing around with some pictures. This is one of the results.
