My 2016 Fic Challenge Post

I thought this was an excellent idea of golden_bastet's when I saw it in my flist this morning, so I'm kind of pinching it! *g* I already keep a master list of my Pros fic on my sidebar, but I like the idea of keeping track of this year's challenges too. That's a hell of a lot of stories! You are to be congratulated. :-)

I'm bad at challenges. Unless I really luck out, the story tends to show that it's been forced. Which it sort of has. So I usually just wait for inspiration to strike on its own.

Thank you! Though to be fair it was over ten years... *g* And some are drabbles! But I like drabbles, they count!

We all write in our own way I guess. When I was first in Pros I just wrote whenever I was inspired, but now I seem to struggle to find the... not the inspiration necessarily, but the momentum once I've started... it's not that I don't want to, it's that I feel like I have to prioritise other things, and the writing gets lost... I figure there must be some way to turn that around, I just need to work out what it is... *sighs*

Oh, I know what you mean. I bought a little white board, it's about ten inches square, that sits on my desk. I use it to write down all the stories that I have in line to write. I have the ideas, with some I have a full outline, but they still sit, waiting to be written. Somehow, there's always something else that has to be done. I have to willfully put everything aside.
