It turned into another pretty - and warm (22C according to my thermometer!) - day, even though I was stuck inside for most of it. I did get to my fiddle lesson on time (but not archery, waaah!), and it was a very pretty trip...

I like contre jour term too, it sounds so much better than this expression my camera uses to chide me *g* We have in Russian similiar sounding term (heard it from my teacher of drawing), wich is in fact the loan word from French too, but I hadn't realized that until I landed in Wiki when I was looking for the right translation for the one I read on the screen of my camera *g*
