Yaaaaaaaawn...

Okay - we have baby lambs safe in shed (I know, you can only really see the mums - it's mum-on-the-left whose lamb we were feeding last night. I don't know yet if he's feeding...)

Blue skies, how wonderful! And drying the laundry outside!
And lammbies! (I always have to think of this flight story by M.F. Glasgow? where Bodie tells a little girl about lions eating lammbies for lunch, to get her to let go of Doyles hair...*ggg*)

Darn headache, crossing my fingers for the tablets to work fast and good!

We have more galey winds and rain, rain, rain....which is good! And it sounds so much like a day at the sea, when the wind is in the trees.

It's definitely a bit gorgeous outside right now - and I do like wind... *g* I'm not sure whether my clothes will actually dry, but it's kind of fun watching them try... *g* And you have galey winds and rain, rain, rain - fun!The lads may yet get to sea... *g*

Yes! I always think of the M.Fae Glasgow story too - it comes straight to my head when I see the word lambies! *g*

I thought the pills were working a few minutes ago, but then I had to read something again, and ow... but I'm still optimistic!

I thought about you and your headaches, you seem to have an aweful lot of them, poor lamb.
*gg*
How's the midnight lambie coming along? Being born on a dark, cold windy night...

Work seems to go well today, does it mean, your headache left you? I do hope so!!

After two hours procrastinating like a princess I even finished quilting one Quilt as far as I planned to.
Now I have to figure out how to quilt the parts in between....
And I have to quilt my Monster. At least fixate it by quilting the big parts, like I did with the small one.

We went shopping again today, with the car this time. And three times we went into a shop while it rained and came out to see the blue sky dissapearing. That was a sign. So we went to the library and got a pile of books and CDs. And just pottered around in the warm and cosy kitchen while listening to the CDs.

Magic paracetamol took my headache away today - hurrah! And then I was able to get on with work reasonably well, so that was good. But I didn't write - I wasn't quite that fast....

Midnight lamb seems to be fine - he's suckling his mum now after all, so phew! the lamb-shed is looking very cosy now. *g* (Though it turned out that the falling slate on the other side did fall onto landlords car - oh no! So unfair after all his hard work with Midnight Lamb - he'd been up at 4am giving him another feed, too...)

And you finished a quilt! Well done, you! Heee for the Monster though - good luck! You can do it!

just pottered around in the warm and cosy kitchen while listening to the CDs
That sounds totally lush... *g*

Yay for the lambs - hope they're all feeding successfully - and good luck with everything on your schedule! :-)

Yeay for wee little baa-lambs! The new one is still there, and although I've not seem him feeding, he seems happy and a bit more solid, and I can't see any feeding-detritus around, so hopefully he's okay! I shall ask Landlords if I see them, but I've not yet.

And thanks! So far so good! Hope your day's doing well!

Good to hear your headache went away and the midnight lamb is nursing/suckling (what's the proper term for lambs?).
By the time I get to check on LJ, it's usually long after bedtime for you.
Your list looks mostly taken care of.

Doing work on the computer every day must be pretty strenuous for your eyes.
We had a big weather change today. Rain, hail and much colder temperatures. Something like this always gives me a headache, and I've just taken some ibuprofen and hope for the best.

A lot of the students today were very tired. Takes them a while to get used to a regular bedtime.
Some of the first graders looked like they needed a nap, wilting at the tables. I felt a little like joining them. :)

Lambs suckle or feed I think. I'm pretty sure only human babies nurse...

Aw bless your wee students (and you, being back after such a gorgeous holiday!) At least it sounds as if the weather changed at the right time - when you got back, rather than where you were when you were away (if that makes sense *g*) Hope your headache's gone by now too (after a good night's sleep, by the time I'm writing this... *g*)
