Oooh - I hope you like them! And I say them, cos there's three in the series, and another in the universe, and a couple of free stories too, if they're your sort of thing... I like that they're different - and funny, and hot and... they just work for me. Enjoy!

Oh yeay! *g*

A Case of Spirits is a free short that she's put out there - there are a few others too! It goes like this:

1) The Smuggler and the Warlord (set before all other stories, but read those first so it makes sense) (free online very short)
2) The Magpie Lord - e-book and paperback
3) Interlude with Tattoos (free online very short)
4) A Case of Possession - e-book and paperback
5) A Case of Spirits (free online and included in ACoP paperback)
6) Flight of Magpies (e-book and I've just found out it's out now in paperback - whooohooo! *runs to Wordery*)
7) The Feast of Stephen (free online short)
8) Jackdaw (not Lucien/Stephen, but they apparently appear - same universe, character from Flight of Magpies. And I've just found out it's going to be released as a paperback at the same time - whoooohooooooo! (Even though I've already pre-ordered the e-book... *g*)

Oh, thank you for making me look these up for you - happy Wednesday! *g*

Thank you for this, I was hunting around to see where A Case of Spirits fit in and ended up buying A Case of Possession as well, as it came before. I can see I have some more reading to do before I get there though, with the very short ones to read. Links are very helpful, thanks.

Blast, I bought it for the outrageous sum of £2.34 the other week. And all the others shortly after :)

Enjoyed them very much, but it was the other book not in their universe that really caught me: Think of England. Loved that one.

I know - they're very reasonable as e-books to start with. Because I'm a paperback girl by preference, I'm also exceedingly happy to have just discovered that Flight of Magpies is also just out in paperback, and it looks as if Jackdaw is going to be simultaneously published in paperback (though I've already pre-ordered it).

And yes, I liked Think of England alot too - there is going to be a sequel, apparently. She's also got some Regency m/m coming out, a series from a short story in an anthology. It's her Magpie books that I most adore and don't want to see end, though...
